haha no free anything nowadays. I paid for my set just like everyone else. I feel bad for the person that paid $200 and posted a review for the rest of us to get a sweet deal on it ! Lets get him a 12 pack of Bud Light

Since the guy is in Europe, Paypal gives him Euros and will give you a non-favorable conversion rate as a fee. You can change this in the last page to let your travel credit card do the conversion for free. Check with your CC first.

Everyone on this forum should be ordering one regardless. One can prolong it, but rubber deteriorates in time like tires.
I noticed this too .. not a huge difference but I can send him a couple extra euros on his end vs the paypal conversion rate for like $5 USD less on my end with my Chase card.

I know from receiving international payments that they charge the seller more too .. super annoying money siphoning scheme that they run.

Good intel. However, I'm not sure what he means by someone needing to re-use their existing trim when doing the lower rear finishing moulding - it's just rubber. There's no trim that goes over it or anything. Now, the sedans, like my E90 or the e46 ones iirc, have a trim piece (mine are gloss) that go over the rubber. In E46 case, I think it's painted over the rubber (for the non M gloss stuff).

I got a tracking number too.

I asked him if the item is in production or if these are just old inventory. He said its in production and also said: "Next month we will get a rear quarter lower weather stripping, customers will need to use there existing trim (chrome, shadow line etc..)".... I think he is referring to the trim piece that goes below the rear 1/4 and glues onto the panel? I wonder if he works at the factory

    Thank you!
This is for the weatherstripping that is mounted onto the trim thar runs above the rear 1/4 window and door windows. The weatherstripping deteriorates overtime and not sold separately by BMW. The only way to replace it is to buy the entire trim piece at an insane price. But someone has found the manufacturer for the weatherstripping and selling it separately. All you have to do is take the entire trim off and swap the weatherstripping. Its a easy DIY project.
