    Hi everyone,

In addition to my previous post, I noticed there is some extra rubber protruding that is not present in the OEM part.

Is this the same on yours?

    Thank you,
    Alex

    It has been very helpful.

I ordered the seals from Matthew Navis and only did one side.

The seal feels thicker (and hopefully more robust).

I just feel that the motor struggles a bit when closing the window now.

    It will hopefully settle...

    UPDATE:
I heated the new seal with a hairdryer and applied some Swissvax "Seal Feed" and it helped the window opening/closing.
I had this same experience/observation. Nice note on heating the seal/Swissvax, I'll try that when/if I do the other side.

That's ok since it's too late don't bother yourself about it. There is NO “code” as per se but you can email him and if he wants he will give you a code. I tried and he was kind enough to hook me up with a code.

Also, anyone know if there's still a discount code? The original NAM3 doesn't seem to work anymore
You have to message him for the discount. He will send you the code.

Damn, his quarter seals went through the roof in price.

I guess for people like me who ended up getting the pass/right side, its better to ahve the 1 spare than cracked/missing strip

Ordered these last year and prepping for install now. The tops of both of these weatherstrips have double sided tape on them. It's not just a protection film, it's double sided tape. From top to bottom on the pic: bottom of passenger side with 2 strips of tape (correct), top of driver side with one strip of tape (is this a QC error?), top of OEM driver side.

I made the same mistake. The ones Matt sells are only for cars that have the extra chrome gloss black trim pieces unfortunately. Was able to sell my set locally but I'm stuck w/o a driver-side bottom rear trim now😓

EDIT: jsut realized he's now finally selling the matte finish sets. hopefully he'll correct the mistake if that's what you ordered
