    Aux / Bluetooth install for early / pre 09/02 cars

    Went to install the BMW aux cable yesterday and found my car was built too early and does not have the aux imput wire

    Whats the easiest way to get an aux imput or bluetooth for music streaming if not prewired ?

    I have navigation with the 6 disc changer in truck - i do not use CDs so dont mind unplugging the cd changer and plugging a new device in the slot

      I have a early 2001 car as well. From my research GROM's trunk adapteer works as well. It plugs into the wiring harness for the CD Changer in the trunk.

        Search Bluebus on the forum and get one of those units. Best option for OEM like integration with Bluetooth.

          Just an update.. i went with the Enfig BMTS-BTU

          Sound is clear - and as for install - took 15 minutes.

          Nothing was done from inside the car - removed the 6 disk CD player in the trunk and plugged the 2 imputs into the Enfig unit. Zip tied the new unit next to an open area next to the DVD player.
