I bought new OEM, sold the old cover. Maybe someone wants to fix a broken one and install aftermarket bushings?

You can just press in E36 M3 diff mounts. Or poly or solid.

You'd be surprised how "easy" it is to crack the housing when pressing in solid bushings.

Or people want to have one prepped and ready when they work on the car.

Or people want to powder coat/paint it and want a quick swap.

Or people don't have a press and only have one car.

I’m collecting diff covers for when they go EOL. My whole retirement strategy hinges on this!

Is the first reason why BMW does not sell the bushings separately? However, they do offer the E36 bushings for E36s.

Anyone got a diff cover with good OEM bushings on it? Cannot stand having a poly diff bushing on mine anymore.

                  Probably.

Also note the E36 bushings while very closer are NOT the same dimension as the E46 bushings but I do run them in a bunch of cars and haven't seen any issues as of yet.

Is there any advantage to the E36 bushing vs the E46 ones that come with the cover ?

                    Softer, stiffer, etc.?

What brand poly bushing do you have in your differential ?

Why can’t you stand it ?

I currently use Powerflex Black and had Rogue Engineering ones before. I’m wondering if I he slight wine I hear is from the diff bushing or was there before ?

                        It's the diff bushing.
