Difference between CSL rear caliper and OEM?

Hi guys long time no see

I need to replace my rear right CSL brake caliper. I forget if it is the same size as the OEM or slightly bigger…

I remember either the fronts or rears were bigger but can’t remember which.

    Larger piston

Fronts are the same, but the carrier is different in order to position the csl caliper farther out for the 345mm rotors vs. 325mm

So the rear has a larger piston? Meaning I can’t swap the stock caliper back instead.

Well, you can, but you'll bias it forwards even more.

Correct rear calipers have larger piston. They are also factory powder coated black and then sliders machined.

Stock smaller piston rears would install and function but the bias would be off. Also if yours was done properly it would also be coded for that brake bias.

The rear piston isn't that much larger just a few mm. Is the bias difference that bad?

Ostensibly, no, but they did it to counter act the increased leverage up front with the extra 20mm so it must be significant enough.
