Question about installing CSL header + CSL section 1

I have 2005, E46 M3 (USDM). I paid a shop to install the oem CSL header, and the oem CSL section 1. To my surprise when I picked the car up, they welded new bungs into the CSL header, installed both pre, and post o2 sensors into it, and then another bung for an EGT.

I don't know why they did this, but this is what they did... Sooooooooo.. I need to be street legal where I live, so I need to have the correct setup for the o2 sensors...

To fix this, I need to...
    1) buy 2 bung plugs, to plug the newly created o2 sensor bungs in the header
    2) buy an EGT port cap, to cap the newly created egt port
    3) buy a new EGT sensor (part #11787831624) because the USDM version used does not reach far enough back.
    4) buy 2 new POST cat o2 sensors. They used USDM o2 sensors, and they will not reach far enough back. (part #11781405324, and part#11787832035)

Am I understanding this problem correctly? Or do I have it all wrong?
I need to get a game plan set, because I have to pay for lift time, and it would suck to start this, and then not have everything i need.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Man I'd be f*cking pissed those are not cheap parts and they butchered them. You can leave EGT alone there.

Rear O2 harnesses WILL reach, if routed properly, but it does require some hacking to the rubber grommet/loom at the back of the engine (not visable).

You should not pay for lift time, the "shop" should be ashamed of themselves, and do it for you.

        Yeah, I wasn't happy.
But what's done is done, and this is what I'm left with.

That blows they molested an OEM CSL part that may be NLA soon, I'd be mad as hell.
Either extend the wires like tbone mentioned or I believe you can still purchase a Euro harness if you don't want to cut/re-route.

Yep. I am screaming internally. But what can I do...
They are already NLA. I had to get these second hand from the UK.
And trust me, I paid the NLA price.

                CSL Section 1 isn't NLA.
BMW Germany has, as of right now, 26 units in stock.

But anyway, really sucks for you OP, I just don't understand why they would do this without consulting with you first…
I would have not let this slide, and have them cough up the price for a replacement (used) set.

I was talking about the CSL header being NLA. I didn't have too much trouble finding the section 1.

                    They also didn't mutilate his section 1, so it's a non-starter.

I would have them buy another CSL header and re-install non-butchered.
