I’ve been suffering the dreaded amp failure, and can’t see to find a business/individual in the states that rebuilds or sells a quality replacement. Posting to see if any members have some insight. The audio at the moment is atrocious

Presumably you're having trouble with the BM54 but note if you have HK, that there is another set of 8 channels in the main HK amp and another 2 in the sub amp.
Search for BM54 upgrade. There aren't any upgrade or repair options for the HK amps. They are relatively cheap on ebay though - just make sure you get the right version for coupe or convertible as they're different (and sedan is different again). E46/2 is coupe and E46/C is convertible and E46/4 is sedan you'll see on the amp itself.Last edited by Shonky; 11-13-2022, 09:40 PM.Comment
