    Clubsport Spoiler rarity?

Been planning out build options for my Car and one of the options I am toying with is maybe doing a cosmetic, "partial GTR" build.

Basically with a GTR style hood, and spoiler, with a CSL style rear diffuser, ZCP (in place of CSL) rims, and a Euro bumper (I dont like the CSL or GTR bumper) as well. From what I can tell the closest thing to the GTR spoiler is the Club sport spoiler (if its not the same thing). Some might call it a patchwork but in my head it might look pretty good.

For those wondering, i am not a fan of the CSL trunk lid/spoilers either.

Its just one of the options I'm looking at but one aspect is, how rare are the spoilers? They are discontinued so probably need a used one. unless someone has some old stock stashed away.

    Thanks.

You see them come up for sale every so often. Not sure how common they are in the US. I think there were two or three for sale in the last year or so on m3cutters.

I'm usually not a spoiler guy at all but I actually don't hate the club sport one for whatever reason.

Looking around I have a feeling these would cost quite a bit.

Might have to keep an eye on eBay.

If anyone in Europe wants one, let me know.

I have a new factory example, which I am not going to use in my build.

I have one which matched my color (Carbon Black) from Germany… shipping cost was insane.

That said, it’s OEM and to me looks WAY better than the CSL trunk which is a dime a dozen nowadays

Just a thought, but another good option for you might be the "Ringtool" look you often see on the Nurburgring, which utilizes the GTS wing.

Does not look bad on a proper track car but on a road car its a little too loud. I like how the Clubsport wing is pretty low profile and discreet. Although a different wing of similar size might be an option if I go this route.

                    That's a GT4 wing, not GTS.

GTS is 10cm deep, GT4 is 20cm deep.

I have the GT4 on mine as well. Great for the track, completely useless on the street.

Let’s be honest, your photo angle was hiding a lot.

That’s because it’s from an actual 330Ci Clubsport. The rear top angle is identical as would be on an M3.

Right but what I'm saying is they look funny on those cars because of the bumpers, that wing looks much better on an actual M3.

Someone said it was ugly, you said show you the ugly part. So I posted it’s whole look from behind, where it has always been criticized. Even unloved by Club Sport coupe owners. This rear view is how it would look exactly on an M3. If you have it and like it that’s awesome. Everyone has different tastes. But in full disclosure this view is one most see (not yours) and it needs to be shown when someone considers it.
