I’m just in disbelief, 7 years of ownership and emotional attachment destroyed and ruined by someone who was probably on their phone texting or something.

I really enjoy the new toy, very practical and stands out among the wave of silver and white cars. The only issue I’m having is that the owner clearly neglected this thing a little too much and there’s this weird on and off sort of ticking sound coming from the right side of the engine bay near the intake manifold. I already replaced the DISA valve and also noticed that the fan shroud was very crooked and out of place so I fixed that thinking it could be the fan hitting something but nothing. The best way I can describe the sound is like if I was dropping a few marbles in a plastic container then picking them up and dropping them again over and over. The sound only happens at idle and goes away after about 1500 rpm.
