Fellow long time owner here so congrats. Silver over IR with high miles just went for good money on C&B, wasn't original interior. Demuro review may have helped: https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3pz...3-bmw-m3-coupe

    I've thought about selling my 2011 E90 M3 a couple of times...just can't do it.
The odd thing is it actually hasn't hit me yet. I've been wanting to sell for a little while now....and I guess I'm just ready to try something new. YOLO! lol btw i was the 3rd owner. 2nd owner had it for not even a year.

I keep thinking about it, I can sell for double what I paid years ago and prices are still going up here. Problem is everything else has gone up so much I'm priced out of anything decent.

Would have been happy with a PDK 3.4L cayman but they're all 100k+ now so no idea what to do.

Man what a great car. Good to see it go to RE!

As many times as I considered selling, I just can’t do it. Too much blood sweat and tears put into the M3. When I move to a P-car I’ll just keep my fleet.

Yes! And in the Turbos, that’s a real thing! Prominent like the DCT in the E9XM. But that’s a different animal altogether, engine wise. Of course there you have lag and a whole lot more premium. A 996 Turbo is one of those sleeper cars that I feel like might one day be had for a number that makes great sense (Porsche purists notwithstanding).

I never got that out of my mind. Couldn’t figure out what that extra cake was for. Sure some here will say “Cab” was the problem, or not a 6MT or whatever. My view is unless it’s a GTS or Turbo or some color that just doesn’t come in these (like the Mocha Brown they like to do), don’t bother. But my TiAG / Imola v his Black / Grey?? Puhleeeez!

Back on point, this SG / Imola is another hot one. I drove a couple of those that nonBMW dealers would confuse for “Silver” back in the day.

Me: “No not THAT silver, the other one. [Test drives car anyway, for fun]”🤣😂

have a couple good friends with 997s. The issue for me is they’re basically just prettier 996s and while that goes a long way, it doesn’t make it juicy enough to justify the premium… for me.
