    Electrical Issues Galore

Electrical issues are something I hoped I'd never have to deal with on my car . After a two-week vacation back to the east coast, I came back to Cali and my car has not worked properly since. The biggest electrical issue I'm getting is that my cluster is no longer backlit. It had completely gone out for two days, but actually came back on last night for a few minutes before going back out again, so it isn't completely dead. The next issue is that my lights no longer blink when I lock or unlock the doors. And another smaller issue is that my Mediabridge Bluetooth unit is no longer working (this has been installed for years with no hiccups so I don't think it's causing this, but you never know).

I have zero expertise when it comes to electrical issues and planned on just dropping it off at a local shop next week, but if anyone has experienced similar and has some ideas on what I could search for or any other advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you leave the battery to fully charge overnight? Sounds like a nonperformant or not fully charged battery.

I agree to start with the battery. Throw a charger at it for a night, clean the terminals and the connectors and make sure everything's done up right and tight. If it an older battery maybe look into a replacement. These can all be done for free unless you don't own a charger or a terminal brush.
