This is a 2013 M3 with about 34k miles on the clock, and it’s selling price is $28,000 or so dollars. The first rule when buying a used sled that can send you into financial ruin is to buy the newest sled you can afford. While E46Ms have good qualities, the next generation of M cars are pretty good also. In any case, whatever you choose to do, I’m sure it will be the right decision. The link for the aforementioned M3 is below.

Very different cars-- I doubt most people that want what the e46 M3 offers would be happy with the e9X M3.

But, yeah, for cars of the same mileage (especially if it's low mileage), e46s are starting to be worth more than e9Xs... with good reason, IMO.

        For Canada you want www.kijiji.ca
FYI I just sold my 2004 Mystic Blue/cloth interior SMG salvage with 83K miles for US$9700. It drives like new, interior perfect no rust everything works. Needs a front emblem and outside rear view mirror.
I just did not ever drive it and I probably have more than that into it. It is a Canadian car. Oh Vanos all done as well as cooling system completely replaced. The car had front end damage and I replaced fenders hood and bumper.

I said it was salvage. However, now that these cars are getting older a salvage title means less than overall condition. I sold it to a guy that has a 2006 comp package low miles with cloth interior. He also has an E30 track car. Plus he is a member of our club and lives a mile away. He found my cars in winter storage lot and put a note on them. He knows E46 M3 cars so I am happy to sell it to him.
I sold my first 2002 slick top to a guy 2 years ago and we are still in touch.

Semi-related. Maybe we can port over the thread on the old forum where new members posted up their purchase price and other related info on condition and specs. Would help gauge market prices
