Hi guys

previous owner of my m3 deleted all the stereo equipment from the car but the wiring and speakers. There are no modules/boxes in the boot

ive connected an Xtrons headunit but am getting not sound from the speaker. Can anyone confirm if I need a certain box eg Amp ? Thank you!

The original wireing went from the head unit, to an amp, to the speakers. So if there is no amp in the trunk you will not have any connections. You can either add an amp, or if you happy using the head units internal amp you can just bypass the amp completely.

The amp is located on the left wall of the trunk behind the carpet. I'm guessing the last owner had an aftermarket set up and stripped it before selling.
