    18" OEM Style 67 Finish

Does anyone have factory 18" Style 67s on their car? I bought a beat up set that I would like to refinish as close to factory as possible (I understand the two tone shadow chrome finish), but I can't understand what the clearcoat gloss level is. From what I remember, and with the remnants of paint on this set I bought, it appears matte or semi-gloss. Google brings up mixed results so I'd like to ask you who personally own them.

Any pictures or references would be helpful.

The face of the wheel is a machined finish (polished) with a gloss clear coat on top.

Think he means 18" since he says "shadow chrome."

The wheel is black underneath from what I've seen. It's gotta be like 3 stages of paint. There's an account on IG that can redo it perfectly, or at least the shadow chrome from M5 wheels, but I can't remember the account. Somewhere in tehmidwest iirc. I'll post again if I find the shop name.

familiar with the steps and layers. I am trying to understand the gloss level of the clearcoat that's laid down onto the final silver/chrome paint.

Prince's Wheel Service in Monroe, NC would know. Not sure if they are willing to share the gloss coat type. According to the M5board, they are the best at refinishing shadow chrome wheels.
