Which dash cam are you guys running and why? Im looking to get one.

I run a Blackvue DR750x hardwired (in another car, not M3). Works pretty well, the app can be a little quirky but I like it. Bought from blackboxmycar.com which has a huge selection of dash cams in all price ranges.

EDIT (why?): I liked the form factor and the WiFi capability, SD memory and apparent ease of install. They have others with better resolution (4k) but this one fit what I needed. Seemingly good quality.

I have a cheap G1W-C that has been going good for 8 years now.

It was the best bang/buck ratio when I was doing my research. 1440p recording at 60FPS or 2880*2160P at 30FPS, decent low light sensitivity, has a separate GPS mount so easy to remove when needed. Dashcams only use one of 4 or 5 different image sensors and VIOFO is using a Sony one so it's one of the best ones out there.
