    Re-spray or Wrap

The weather is starting to get nice and I got out and washed the car today. I bought it just under 100K and it had some expected front and rear bumper paint imperfections, including 2-3 deep “gashes” about the length of a quarter. I go back and forth on whether to keep this car OEM+ or tastefully make it my own, and more and more I’m leaning towards the latter. I’ve got some big maintenance to first (bearings, vanos, and full bushings start tomorrow), but I’m starting to plan for exterior refresh.

Here are my options: respray in carbon black, respray in Toyota lunar rock (I have a rav4 in this, it’s stunning), or wrap it. In all scenarios, it has to be repaired and it’ll be parked outside for the next 1-2 years until my garage is built. What do y’all think?

Whatever you do - don't wrap. It's kicking the can down the road, and wraps look like complete crap unless they're matte. They aren't very durable either - they are 1/3 the thickness of your average PPF film.
