330 electric fan in an m3

I thought using a e46 electric puller fan was a drop in fitment. Was I wrong to think this? I can’t seem to get it to fit.
many help or confirmation would be appreciated

Z4M should work, M54 is different

You have to trim the bottom portion of the fan to clear the oil cooler and use one radiator pull through zip tie on the driver side.

I run one on mine. I really like this fan.

Nextelbuddy, would you happen to have a picture? Also, my issue seems to be that the entire fan assembly was too thick
