I’ve been sitting on a set of BBS RSII for too long and want to get the ball rolling on having them built into 3pc wheelset. I’m just having trouble deciding on the specs. Want to do 9.5/10.5 widths and 255/285 tires. I just need to get the offsets right. The rears I’m hoping I can do +25, or even +22 if I can pull it off without having to roll fenders or run extreme camber (the car is an ‘04 cabrio on Eibach/Bilstein)
My bigger concern is the fronts-I previously had 18x9.5 ET35 apex wheels and didn’t like the fit as far as how far the wheels “poked”- they looked like they were out farther than the 10.5 ET27 rears, which was part of the reason I sold them. My thought was to do something like 9.5 with 40 or 45 offset so that the front and rear would look more in line wih each other, if that makes any sense.
My next issue is picking a shop to do the work. I’ve been in contact w both AR Motorwerkz and Ehrlich Wheel Works, who both gave me almost identical quotes, so it’s just a matter of who comes more highly recommended-anyone have experience with either shop? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated
