    Best CSL bumper options for a US-spec car

    Trying to have the hoses for the CSL airbox fit nicely in my US-spec car, but stock bumper obviously doesn't have the right kind of space. Looking at various options, I came up with 2 candidates:
    1. OEM CSL bumper
    2. Status Gruppe ==> https://statusgruppe.com/product/bmw...-front-bumper/
    Any pros/cons on the above?

    Any suggestions based on prior experience fitting those on US-spec cars, or are there others that are better fit and are available in the market these days?

    I'm running an SGT CSL bumper on my M3. I picked it up back when Status Gruppe was hyped like crazy on M3F. Needless to say, I imagine there are far better options out there. Poor quality and it took a lot of modifications for it to fit properly. Is Mile End Composites still around?

          Sounds like Mile End Composets is done dealing.

          I *think* Euroconnex.co has one from the same outfit that has the widened front quarter panels, Alsatek?

                That looks good. Any experience in figment on a US-spec car? Does it require changing the Kevlar mounts to aluminum?

                  Yes it does - however you don't actually need the aluminium carrier, just its shock absorbers.

                  The product listing is here, and I've been documenting it here.

                  It's an actual OEM replica for the most part including the pre-preg cabon construction. Most OEM CSL bumper components fit. You'll find all the detailed specs here.

                  It is made in Germany and about 40% off the price of OEM for matching quality. A lot more than STG - I think it's worth it having paid for it and seen it first hand. The fitment appears above and beyond by all preliminary accounts.

                  My final word on fitment will be next month once the car is all back together.
