Mine is a little lower than some of the others on here. Definitely make it even/level with the ridge that goes across the trunk

Here’s what I ended up going with. RE:fresh paint, car was baked twice and it’s also probably 2 weeks old now before we applied the M3 decal

I stuck mine on the same center line as the CSL. Looks weird to me if it's shifted all the way to the right portion of the CSL badge.

The badge placement needs to be adjusted slightly without the "CSL" portion.
You might want to wait a few weeks before installing the badge to let the paint fully cure; otherwise, the badge can create an indent in the clearcoat and you'll see it if you remove it in the future.
