I’m looking to see if anyone will lend or rent me an OEM driveshaft for my coupe. Ive got a horrible clanking noise, and would really like to try out someones known good two piece shaft before I drop $1k on a 1 piece and it turn out to be my transmission making the noise.
I’ve already replaced:
CSB
rebuilt Diff
diff bushings
new clutch and fly wheel
trans mounts
ive come to the conclusion its either the gear box or the shaft, and I believe its the shaft because one day when working on it I grabbed both halfs of the shaft, torqued them together and turn the shaft by hand and heard nothing, but when turning one half of the shaft, could clearly hear a similar sounding noise.
If someone could let me use there shaft like two days I would happily return it! If you would like some collateral to ensure I return it then we can discuss that too! Any help would be appreciated!
