    Heater Core Delete Help

Looking for help from those that deleted the heater core.

Recently purchased BW S54 HVAC delete kit, and have a few questions before tearing everything apart. I believe this kit blocks the end of lines 7 and 10. I was planning on removing the intake, can the heater control valve/AUX water pump also be removed or bypassed?

VAC also makes a block off plate that is installed at the back of the water pump that deletes the hardline on the block (#10 on diagram). Is this a better solution?

Question answered VIA FB, for reference from Feffman (Mark):

BimmerWorld heater core delete kit (https://www.bimmerworld.com/BimmerWorld-S54-Heater-Core...) which caps of pipe 7 and includes a block off plate for the rear of the water pump getting rid of the 10 line. Seated the rear water pump freeze plug with RTV using the appropriate sized socket and a hammer.

I used JB weld on the freeze plug. Also reamed out the end of the pipe and JB welded (high temp stuff) a freeze plug in there.

      $2 from O’Reilly’s.

I couldn’t find an aluminum plug…would have TIG’d a couple of tacks instead of using JB weld.

Thanks for the info. Did you also remove the heater control valve/AUX water pump?
