Help: MAudio Subwoofer wires short out stereo

I was removing the wires for the mAudio subwoofer and when cutting them, I think I shorted out the system and now my head unit doesn't turn on. I have tried finding fuses, but all look correct, I still get switched power at the head unit, but am very lost as to what more to try. Anyone have had a similar experience? All threads I have searched, and solutions I have tried, have led me nowhere.

Background: I am using the stock amp (in the trunk) and an Avin (aftermarket) head unit

There’s usually a fuse on the back of the radio or inline with the 12v leads.
