They weren't bad. I ran them on my GT3 when nothing else was available, and they heat cycled out before the tread wore out. They are not on the wide side, and the 305 rears were quite stretched on my 12" wheels.
I would only run them again if all my other preferred tires are out of stock, which is how I ended up on them in the first place.
I used a set for a GLTC race weekend and really liked them. I can't really comment on life as I only put 6-7 HC on them. Years ago I went through a ton of sets of nt01 and I think they felt pretty similar. Reasonably grippy, very progressive and predictable, not terribly fussy about pressures. They did take a bit longer to heat up. I have only run the falkens on an endurance car but they seemed great also.
The kumhos probably give up a bit of grip to the re71rs or a052 but for the price they are fantastic. They are very cheap right now on TR.

Yeah, that's why I was wondering. I do at most 2 track days a year these days since I have a 15 month and a 4.5 little ones.

I was considering getting 265's for 9.5 to save cost but I read they run narrow. To not take a risk was going to order 275s. But, wanted to get feed back.
I run these full time on the street and for HDPE. I think the guys above nailed it. They're pretty loud though. I think I liked my 615ks more for the price.

It's a bit different in price. The v730s run $225 a tire in 275/35/18 but the 615k's run $274 each in the same size.
I had one set on my e36, not the same, I know, but they were good for the money. You can of course go faster if you spend more. I wouldn’t turn down the V730 for a “fun” tire, or to shake down a new car, but I wouldn’t expect to set any PBs with them.
