Has anyone tried BMW South Atlanta yet? Not sure how they are acting currently, but they got some hard to find parts for my E36 a couple years ago. Stuff that was allegedly NLA

Bummer! I bought it in April and (finally) had it installed this week.

Oh man, I've been hoarding a new slicktop headliner I got for my old car. It's been hanging on the wall in my office for the past few years. I need to frame it.

Not a big deal but noteworthy for weirdos like me. I'll deal with it as my original slicktop unit fell apart in the last 8 mos and the US market unit is NLA. I like the look better without the alarm sensor and related contour. I added the euro sun visors at the same time to get rid of the peeling warning stickers. Nice, clean improvement all around.

All the WTB posts across the FB groups and forums have come back nil.

    I certainly wouldn’t mind taking a rainbow-colored one at this point πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I know a couple people that bought beige and grey ones and they were sagging on delivery. They had been sitting in the box for 15+ years. Dealer gave them a nice discount that they applied towards a re-wrap. Worth rolling the dice IMO

that is true, although i have no plans for tracking atm so it may not matter. plus, i’m not that tall πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

ideally, i would absolutely love to have a slicktop headliner..just not very optimistic at the moment but will do my due diligence and start throwing WTB’s everywhere.

i'm going to talk to the local restoration expert who sometimes works on headliners to see if he can just convert mine. I'd be okay with some thick cardboard cutout and glued in place. Once the headliner is in place, I'm sure it will be impossible to tell unless I go fear and loathing in Atlanta.

See if someone has a used headliner they can sell. I posted a WTB in a bunch of the local BMW and nationwide M3 Facebook groups, and was able to grab one from a local member who had a spare.
