100% wheels don't get as dirty as quickly. Haven't seen them "black" yet this year, which was easy to do after a weekend drive.

OEM Brake Pad Reformulation

Rock Auto has "OEM Formulation" Pagid branded brake pads. I believe Pagid is one of the suppliers to BMW for brake pads, in addition to Textar and Jurid. There is a chance these are old stock and are the formula I am used to.
Will try these and report back to see if there is any difference in performance.

All of this idea (changed compound) is purely speculative based on nothing more than "seat of the pants" belief. You still haven't addressed the other factors (changed rotor, other brake system components) that could have this effect. I recommend we not run off with ideas that we have as factual discovery when the instrument we are measuring with is our posterior and we are looking for proof to support a singular theory.Last edited by Estoril; 07-24-2023, 10:42 AM.
