MF Steering Wheel back to ZCP

Prior owner converted the ZCP steering wheel to a multifunction steering wheel with the volume controls. I can buy the upper steering wheel trim with the M track mode button. My question is, is there any wiring that needs to be changed? I’ve tried searching and I can’t figure it out.

Yes, look up the DIY and essentially do the reverse of it.

I found that, but every DIY lists the wiring harness kit part number needed for the MF steering wheel. I can’t seem to find the part number for the M track mode button wiring to do the reverse.

You already have it. You’ll have to find what the previous owner did with the wire for the m track mode button.

If they used an e39 wiper stalk for the button, you could just leave that and use a blank upper steering whee trim if you wanted.

Thanks that is helpful. Previous owner did not use the e39 wiper stalk. So it sounds like I can just swap the upper trim for the M track one and it’ll plug and play if the wire is in there.
