Replacing control arm and tie rods, worth it or waste of $

Does anyone have a good DIY for FCAB bushing replacement of the bushing itself, not just the lollipop ? I may need to do these, but I know a forum member offers exchanges with bushings pressed in.

For that matter--Genuine BMW or Lem?

Doing these bushings was extremely easy with a hydraulic press. It even went off/on the control arm easily with just a little soapy water.

I just replace my control arms. The boots looked really good but the inner ball joint snap rings that hold the boot up and seals it were all missing. The ball joints were fine but not sealed. I only noticed it because I was preventively replacing the arms - 117k miles and they looked original.

Just something to be aware of.
