    Dumb exhaust question

    Okay so I have a dumb exhaust question - I have the stock m3 exhaust and for some reason I just noticed today that’s the right side of the exhaust is blocked with some rubber. The left side doesn’t have this. Is this supposed to be the case or did someone try to mess with me ? First pic is the right side of the exhaust. Second pic is left.

    That definitely should not be there, very odd, it's rubber?

      Id get a lag bolt, drive it into that rubber with some kind of rope secured to it and pull it out.

          Thanks so much guys! I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't removing or damaging anything that is supposed to be there. I drilled a hole and pulled it out with pliers. Someone definitely tried to mess with me cuz that couldn't go there by accident.
