This guy with 6 posts bumping up this thread and suggesting putting a 10k CSL intake in the overhead

This might have been a thing between 2010 and 2015, but after that, you could get almost every part shipped to your door for about the same cost as getting it in the UK. And you didn't even need a CSL VIN. You can still get everything that is not NLA.

IIRC, Fern (OG M3F member, made the CSL bootlid DIY) would walk into the local US dealership pre-2010 and just order CSL parts lol

It's not really necessary unless you want to run the motorsports software/firmware or have the M track mode button.

Yeah, Was just thinking to have one on standby. I have the M Track button coded but i would actually love to do the cruise control delete (and add the Mtrack Mode button) from the steering wheel and use the stalk method.

The reason I want to keep the Cruise is if i ship the car over to the states it'll come in Handy.

I mean, if one falls in your lap, go for it.

If you’re planning a trip to London and trying to figure out how to fit CSL parts in your suitcase, it can be a bit tricky. The key is to make sure you’re using every bit of space efficiently. For example, packing parts in smaller, protective bags can help maximize your suitcase’s capacity. On the topic of traveling, if you're looking to make your journey a bit more comfortable, consider looking into business class flights. They can offer a more relaxed experience, especially if you have a lot of gear or are traveling long distances. It’s worth checking out different options and seeing what fits your needs and budget.

Will headers really fit in a suitcase, has anyone done this? I travel to Europe all the time and have done the research on over sized bag regulations, my math makes it seem like they are too long for any suit case. I found headers for 300 euro but shipping was crazy expensive.

Headers will fit but I feel like they might have residue that triggers the explosive testing equipment at the airport.

I have sold a few sets now here on the forum, shipping can be done for <100$ with Fedex and even less via regular mail which ends up at USPS.

The last one I sent my box dimensions were 36x13x8 in. and they were not crammed in there.

Shameless plug but if anyone else is looking for euro headers, I have plenty.
