It’s been a 5 year odyssey trying to get my m3 fixed after a front end crash where I hit a small light pole (fell asleep) almost dead on. Luckily I wasn’t going fast and it was the middle of the night (worked 4pm to 2am). The car hit the pole almost dead center and broke the pole concrete poll) . Thankfully I was fine save a broken molar. The car sat for years covered up as I only had liability at that point after years of getting gouged for full coverage on it (had a ton of mods). I took it to a shop in OC that races the e 46 m3 and crossed my fingers. It took them about a year to get it back to normal ( I was in no rush). At least on the surface it looks amazing again. Next I embarked on getting the engine and suspension repairs. As it had messed up the front suspension and my coil overs I was dreading what it was going to cost. The mechanic said a few new hoses , new control arms and cleaning out the manifold as well as flushing ahd replacing all the fluids. 7k in work. Then I also had to begin the process with the dmv to get it re registered. I pick it up wed of next week. I hope it’s as close to normal as possible. What else should I be looking to do after all that happened maintenance or mod wise to make the car more structurally sound or just recommendations?
