    Wahoo! Such excellent news.

Will be installing mine this winter, once salt goes on the road, forcing the M3 off the road.

heinzboehmer Glad you were able to abuse them and report back! It’s not as sexy but the piston seals are actually even more impressive! Speaking of which I now also have seals only for those running racing calipers! Ive weathered the tariffs and now can concentrate on bringing more options to the Motorsport community. I announce new products on our facebook page although I am still a dinosaur when it comes to social media,…

Okay, I'm very impressed with the Frenkit dust boots.

I was doing engine bay heatsoak testing at a recent track day and thought it would be a good idea to skip any sort of cooldown and park the car in the paddock as quickly as possible. Obviously, the front brakes started profusely smoking almost immediately after parking. Hopped back in, did a cooldown lap of the paddock and all was good.

I swapped back to street pads today and was expecting to find some very destroyed dust boots, but instead I found this:

They're still completely intact? What? How?

I checked all of them and they're all still in perfect condition. Incredible.

Also, this is what the track pads look like. I was not being kind at all to the dust boots at the track with how little thermal mass I had in there:

These dust boots are the real deal. Thanks a bunch OPS for making these available to us.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to OPS. Not only did my initial order arrive promptly, but he also went out of his way to help fix my order even though it was an error on my part. Most other companies would've hit me with a ridiculous restocking fee or tedious RMA process but not OPS. Mike was genuinely helpful in getting me the right parts as fast as possible -- it was like dealing with a fellow enthusiast as opposed to a typical vendor. I won't have chance to tear the calipers down for another few weeks but whether they last as long as the originals or not, I'm a repeat customer. Well to be fair, they'll definitely last more than the Porsche OE boots I installed 2 weeks ago. I put those in since I wasn't sure I'd get the OPS ones in time and they looked like this after 1 track day on DTC-70s.

And for anyone wondering, full tear down will include pistons, boots & seals + titanium shims + mild brake cooling

What I worked out with Frenkit were three options:

    1. Dust boots only
    2. Caliper rebuild kit (dust boots/piston seals)
    3. Caliper Rebuild Kit with Pistons (Dust Boots, Piston Seals, Pistons)

The choice is up to how much of a rebuild are you planning on doing! These kits are an upgrade to the Brembo EPDM (rubber) seals. These can be used on street (it's just an upgrade) or the track.

First choice is Rebuild Kit with Pistons. Only reason to get this kit is your pistons are shot, marred, or they went flying across the room when you disassembled them. If so you will need the following kits of you have the 996 calipers (front and rear):

Fronts (Each kit rebuild ONE caliper)

Applications 36/40 x 32mm Brembo Caliper Rebuild Kit with Pistons Included are the following components: 36mm High Temp Gray Silicone Dust Boot Quantity 2 36mm Pressure Seal, Quantity 2 36x32mm Piston OE specifications Quantity 2 40mm High Temp Gray Silicone Dust Boot, Quantity 2 40mm Pressure Seal, Quantity 2 40x32mm Piston OE specifications Quantity 2 Caliper Temperature Sticker - included free! Silicone Bleeder Caps Note: Silicone Dust boots must be assembled dry to prevent damage caused by grease. This kit services one (1) 36/40 x 32mm Brembo Caliper. Questions? Email us and we will be happy to help you [email protected]

Rears (Each Kit rebuilds ONE caliper):

Applications 28/30 x 30mm Brembo Caliper Rebuild Kit with Pistons: Included are the following components: 28mm High Temp Gray Silicone Dust Boot Quantity 2 28mm Pressure Seal, Quantity 2 28x30mm Piston OE specifications Quantity 2 30mm High Temp Gray Silicone Dust Boot, Quantity 2 30mm Pressure Seal, Quantity 2 30x30mm Piston OE specifications Quantity 2 Caliper Temperature Sticker - included free! Silicone Bleeder Caps Note: Silicone Dust boots must be assembled dry to prevent damage caused by grease. This kit services one (1) 28/30 x 30mm Brembo caliper. Questions? Email us and we will be happy to help you [email protected]

So if you dont need the pistons but need to do a rebuild the caliper you can save some money by buying the rebuild kits (Boots and piston seals)

Fronts (Each kit rebuild ONE caliper)

Applications 36/40mm Brembo Caliper Rebuild Kit (996 C2/C4, 997.1/2 C2/C4 & More) Included are the following components: 36mm High Temp Gray Silicone Dust Boot, Quantity 2 36mm Pressure Seal, Quantity 2 40mm High Temp Gray Silicone Dust Boot, Quantity 2 40mm Pressure Seal, Quantity 2 Caliper Temperature Sticker - Included free! Rears (Each Kit rebuilds ONE caliper):

This is also an OE replacement for StopTech/Centric kit part numbers: 143.99028K 143.99030K 143.37009 This seal kit replaces OE Brembo Dust Boot part numbers: 20.4872.40 (20 4872 40) - 28mm 20.4872.41 (20 4872 41) - 30mm This seal kit replaces OE Brembo Pressure Seal part numbers: 05.5955.52 (05 5955 52) - 28mm 05.5955.53 (05 5955 53) - 30mm This seal kit replaces OE Brembo Rebuild Kit part numbers: 105.5955.52 (105 5955 52) - 28mm 105.5955.53 (105 5955 53) - 30mm Centric 143.37009Questions? OR if you just need dust boots you can order the sizes you need here: (for this example you will need to order two 36/40/28/30mm sizes for a total of 8 kits)

Looking just to replace your crunchy, heat damaged Brembo dust boots only? We are now pleased to offer the Frenkit Performance Dust Boots sold in pairs for those not needing a complete rebuild! With over 50 years of brake manufacturing experience, Frenkit Performance uses a proprietary high-performance, high-temp peroxide-vulcanized silicone rubber designed for durability. This silicone has excellent mechanical properties, performing reliably between -60ºC and +200ºC without breaking down and handling temperature spikes up to 300ºC with ease! Each kit contains two (2) dust boots Note: Silicone Dust boots must be assembled dry to prevent damage caused by grease!

    Hope that helps!

    Ordering!

    Just to short cut everyone...
Fronts are 36 and 40. Rears are 30 and 28. You will need 8 total kits for 4 calipers.
