Change Supersprint single pipe section 2 to double pipe or not ?

Hi guys, my M3 currently has Supersprint V1 headers, carted section 1 , single pipe section 2 and sport muffler . I also have evolve tune , BMC performance filter with macht schnell intake boot and Turner Motorsport pulleys. Supersprint recommended to use double pipe section 2 for cars with over 400HP. Is it worth to change it ?

If you decide to ever upgrade your cams, you are going to want a consistent 63.5mm (2.5") dual piping diameter exhaust. SS currently only offers 63.5mm headers, section 1, and section 2 but not a oversized muffler yet. I believe they current have one in the works but with what we have going on in this world today I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see one for another year or two. So to answer your question, it's not needed if you are not going to be increasing your power output.

Just putting in the stock sect 2 will give you back more midrange. More rasp too, you'll lose that "tuner" sound the x pipes make.
