    Interesting. Do you think the reason is due to the V2 clutch material or the preload pressure?
    Both V1 and V2 clutch stacks from RacingDiff have the additional spring shim on top of the stack; are these spring shims the same or difference for v1 and v2 (strong vs weak)?
    V1 has a fixed distance from the lock-unit piston to the stack bottom plate, so we can measure how much the spring shim compression then we can duplicate the same compression for V2 by measure and set the depth of the final locking ring
    Note: the factory didn't have the spring shim on the clutch stack -- just flat shims as needed.

      On the V2, did you use anything -- dowel pin or similar -- to lock the ring (factory used the steel ball)?
