Cobra Nogaro Munich Edition (CSL Style + CSL Fabric)

I stumbled upon these as I was looking through another M3 forum. I reached out to Cobra directly to gather more info. Thought there may be enough interest to warrant its own thread.

Cobra has released the Nogaro Munich Edition. This is a limited edition run of Nogaro seats slightly reworked and retrimmed to mimic the look of the legendary CSL seats.

They have a limited amount of factory CSL center fabric to recreate these seats. Once the fabric is gone, they are gone forever in that specific trim. At the time of creating this thread, they are still available. Per their sales rep, they are also willing to make them in full leather as well. Website has options for harness holes and/or carbon shell.

If you are outside mainland UK contact them directly via email.

I have no affiliation with Cobra, and I get nothing out of posting this. Simply thought you all might be interested.

Looks like they can, options for harness holes and/or carbon shell on the product page. You can reach out to the sales rep I spoke with (Chloe O'Connor) to verify.

Can they provide a tilting seat bracket that can be obtained in or delivered to the USA?

I loved them since i saw them a few months ago, the only issue would be the tilt forward function as I 100% need that.

How hard would it be to add OEM seat heaters afterwards if I were to order these already wrapped in CSL cloth?

Not hard at all if they are like regular Nogaros, the cushioned portions are simply attached with velcro.

The bottom cusion you can pull the foam out and wrap the element around it, stuff it back in, for the back portion I put the seat heater behind the entire cushion and it works just fine.

This was with a E39 M5 seat heat pad, it will get you bottom/back heated with one part number.

AFAIK only BMW has ever done that, and only in the specific width of the CSL seat (narrower than this significantly). So, almost certainly no.

I bought a CSL tilting bracket at one point to see if it could be recreated, and pretty quickly realized the answer was no. It's also shockingly little additional space gained-- unlike the stock seat, where the back can pivot forwards, the fixed back bucket is limited by the seat's head rest going into the roof-- so you only gain 2-3" additional back seat access.

ETK shows separate part numbers for seat and back heating elements (-115 and -116) x2 each for 2 seats obviously.

Can you confirm which part number you used?

I used this part, this covers the bottom and back with one heater.

There is a YouTube video of a guy installing these in Nogaros, I also posted a few photos in the main Nogaro thread of the seat heats I believe.

Thanks, much appreciated. Strange that part number is technically only for the bottom, but obviously it covers the lower back also.

Possible other M5 seat options also included -116 to heat higher up the back?

Watch the video, I cannot take credit l, that P/N is really 2 separate "pieces" wired together that are more than enough for one seat, not to mention if installed just right require no upholstery work.

To be fair this P/N does not get the upper shoulder area but more the mid-back, I just didn’t want to mess around with upholstery work.
