My buddy dropped some good coin on a fully loaded avin avant 4, its the kind that is pretty compact and flat on the inside. I saw it has a fan on the back and the plug for the fan is not plugged into anything. try as I might, i couldnt find anywhere on the numberous harnesses to connect it to. Is this something new? What do?

It’s likely a fan that kicks on automatically when the unit gets hot. No specific wire, probably runs off the power brick you insert in your factory harness.

i wish i took a picture, but it is clearly not plugged into anything, the power cable for said fan is just hanging out.

Avin mentioned that it is optional and would need to be wired into the harness manually.Comment
