CSL is my favorite car all time, but for that money I'd rather have a 996 GT3 or GT4...

Does $118k USD even get you a 997 GT3 anymore?

A few months ago, you could have gotten a 997.1 GT3 for around that.

Is it a substantially better car? Yes.

Being in CSL's made me realize this platform is a $20k experience with another $20k of maintenance and mods thrown into it.

You could build an M3 that's faster, handles better, lighter, better seats, better looking, etc, and still pocket 60K.

People like Jay Leno are buying these to stuff away in a garage for 40 years, and that's fine, but for most enthusiasts these are just worthless at their price.
