I did a little more digging. apparently the way my car was wired up differently for this swap. The car will turn on without even holding down the clutch. I am missing a wire to the DME 40 connector to pin23. also my reverse and tilt function was not wired up. The black 8pin pin 1.

My black cutch 4pin - seems like its wired to a dummy connector above the clutch.

Next step i need to check what software it is using. Ordered a foxwell device.

Does anyone know or have experiences with my clutch being setup like this and the car still runs?

Also - I think my DME is already a manual one?

Used Gemini pro - was able to wire up the clutch pin 4 to dme 23.

my car skips the ews so it has the clutch by pass. Tried to wire the reverse mirror but did not work. I have the switch on manual tranny that turns on my reverse lights. Tried to tap that wire in pin1 of x6011 and it made the reverse gear lock out.

I wired up my black clutch switch

        Dme pin23

also dme pin25- I split out the transmission light switch wire for manuals and hooked it up. Seems to solve my hill issue and reverse issue.

im checking my DME coding next week to see what’s up. I do think my idle is slightly high. 850 on neutral but if I’m at the catch point usually it’s 750 ish.

I did all the inpa stuff and coded out some smg items.

Im confused now as to pin 20 or 23. I ordered a brown switch - hopefully it’s right from ecs… will try to move to pin 20….

Brown switch was the thing for me! I coded out the smg logic in inpa on the 2 modules.

now I’m getting a fuel tank valve dme code 24. Ordered a new valve that’s under the plenum.

already did all the other vacuum lines. I do think my brake booster is slightly leaking too.
