Since we went on a tangent, Whatever happened to old group buys where you knew where parts are comming from and transparent about the Group buy price. I don't see those anymore unfortunately. Not just this forum but every other forum had group buys like this. I miss the old days. ( had to rant lol).

To stay relevant, I guess ill throw some megans for now until I can afford the ss v1.

Takes community members to organize them. So… get to it 😜

Organizing Group Buys is harder than ever due to owners being scattered across various platforms. Trading data on who you are for access to pricing is one way to aggregate owners.

I can't comment to that. The few I still organize are pretty clear about the parts origin as I despise Alibaba hustlers.

there have always been different types, i got my first A/S kit directly from Ron when he used to do them annually. i got my Flossman fenders from Chicane Motorsports and it was convenient because on top of favorable pricing, you didn't have to deal with overseas shipping and things getting lost in translation with flossman.

Euroconnex is just a guy primarily in it for the money using modern day tech bro business elements like trying to trap you in his ecosystem. on top of that, he consistently continues to be openly petty and unprofessional. it might be part of his strategy of trying to come off as "just a fellow enthusiast" setting up group buys but personally i think its part of a company narrative that he's making up as he goes. i wouldn't buy a bag of chips from him based on principle alone

I setup several back in the days of M3f.net

Easy to setup, never had to take too much information down, (honestly I didn't WANT your guys personal info) most of the vendors I worked with would have a link to get in touch with them directly.

It is a simple process, I don't know how or why it's over complicated in today's market. Now days you can call a vendor directly and secure a great price over the phone, so haven't had the need to setup a GB.

That said I never ran a GB for a random Eastern European company. I stuck to American/UK or Japanese well established businesses.

I've come to terms it has been pointless to explain to you that it was launched out of COVID boredom in the Summer of 2020 as a side hustle to get parts for my builds.

I did spend some time in tech - it has made be focused on the metrics. 92% of what I've made has been reinvested into the cars in one way or another.

EuroConnex is debt free with no outside venture capital, and definitely no obsession with growth.

Group buys are a marketing initiatives for slow season sales and product launches - as they've ever been. You'll denote I barely run any anymore as the products I focus on are not mass market.

As Tbonem3, a leading critic of mine once denoted himself, I "dominate" this space. Competition is great, as Obioban pointed out, none want to take on that challenge.

If we're having a conversation on why, refer to my previous post. In a nutshell, this is really hard, with lots of risks, and little reward. Dealing with anonymous people behind usernames acting in ways that would never fly in person is a major reason why many companies avoid forums.

You, and others in this thread have been suspended multiple times over comments and attacks made - this is round n+1. I've come to view these bouts as opportunities to talk to individuals that read, but don't interact.

Ultimately, this forum's "vendor" policy is about providing value, and on that end - you'll be hard pressed to find any other vendor doing remotely close to what I do.

Fact is, you have ignored my invitation to question me on proof on a vendor of this forum with extremely unethical behaviours, admittedly illegal, supported by a moderator here, and other M3forums, going around community mandated sponsorship rules that keep these very forums alive.

Community is a decoy to who?

EuroConnex has always been evolving around my cars' needs, from the fundamental mods into ever more complex, in depth, bespoke upgrades.

I am currently developing a Bespoke Recaro Seat program, a Bespoke Forged Wheel program using M359 and 163M styles, a Bespoke Paint program for all carbon panels made in Europe and a Bespoke Mechanical Program for V10 DCT conversions amongst other things.

I'm pushing the envelope in various regards - I am bound to make things up as I go.

This is a funny jab. The wall came down in 1989 and since then Germany is one country - unless you meant the Vince's bar from Sweden, then I'd argue that's really more Scandinavia.

              Enjoy.
