    Code P0172

    Anyone have any experience with code P0172 (system too rich bank 1)? Car did shut down once during a short drive today.

    Make a log with these data at warm engine idling:
    rpm, coolant and intake air temp, MAF in g/s, all 4 fuel trims, precat o2 sensors, fuel system status for both banks, set data sampling rate at 1sec. I suggest to use Veepeak OBD dongle and OBDFusion app on phone to create the log file.

      I had cleaned the MAF and reset the code. Drove for many problem free miles and code has now appeared again today. I have a 3dward intake. My question is, can aftermarket intakes cause the MAF to dirty sooner, thus causing the code that I am experiencing?

        What is the MAF rate in g/s at hot idling at 850rpm?
