- I bought a 6mt carbon black vert back in June of this year and just got around to making it mine. Added some new wheels and some interior bits like a small sub. Need some inspiration! Show me what you got!

was it hard to remove the fenders?

I'll be honest, i only got the hood because CF and vents look sexy lol. It's from dtmfiberwerkz which means that it's a mix of fiber reinforced plastic and a CF weave for the exterior. I'm pretty sure other companies make much lighter hoods than the one i have at a much higher price. I will say that when I swapped the hood, my hood struts were nearly gone and couldn't hold the OE hood up at all but we're able to hold the CF hood most of the time.
Fenders are pretty easy to remove. Just remove the inner liner, then there's two screws that are inside the fender toward the back and one screw that is accesible with the door open towards the top. Finally you have all the screws under the hood lines. I may be forgetting some things.
I love the design of the fenders but hate that the panel gaps are extremely inconsistent. I don't have the motivation to fix it either because i have no idea how to work the fiberglass panels.
I just noticed you mentioned a small sub, I'm sure that makes a big difference in sound because the certs have no bass whatsoever lol. I've been wanting to put one in front of the ski hole. Where'd you put yours?

yes the sub helps so much in regards to filling out the sound. It’s a slim 12 inch sub made by Rockville and it sits in my trunk floor. I don’t really drive this car for errands so not much goes in the trunk so I installed it there. Ideally I should’ve put it in the backseat somewhere but didn’t want my kids stepping on it haha.
here’s a pic!
also I love the hardtop but I’m so conflicted. I love driving with the top down but also love the looks of the hardtop. It’s just a pain to put on as I need one of my friends to come over to help install it. My wife says it’s too heavy lol1 Photo
