Upon installing rod bearings, found a small gouge. Not sure if I inflicted this, or if it was sold to me this way but nonetheless have this on my hands. Does anyone know if this is safe to install? Quite small...

If you need more convincing measure the size/depth of that imperfection and compare to the clearances. Small is relative, sucks.
