Help - what's this trunk wire/connection

Hey gang, anyone know what this goes to? Thanks for the help!

The wire terminates under the rear seat, but it doesn't have any function. When the cars were sent by ship back in the day, they used that wiring to hook up an electronic battery disconnect that they'd later remove.
