Because the flange hits the body on SMG cars i think especially with subframe raising bushes installed...........thats the only way i can explain it? LOL

Well if you have one and the cars on OEM subframe bushings try it out. If it works i'll switch to OEM subframe bushings and start dreaming of this project again LOL
