I’m debating combining this with a s6-37 swap, since a different length shaft will be needed after 🤔

Length is the same as the transmission itself is also the same, but less top clearance due to the shift actuator.Originally posted by x Spades x View PostI'm SMG, so I would image the length is slightly different. Is the confirmed error-free shaft on an SMG car?
I do not know myself if they will clear, since I have a manual.

I posted my measurements earlier in this thread. These are exactly what my shaft is. They also cover what the company had in their system for stock driveshaft length.Originally posted by 0-60motorsports View Post
That's great news. Can you post the exact length of your cf DS? Thank you
This is who made mine:
Fertigung und Reparatur von Gelenkwellen für KFZ und Industrie. Unser Ersatzteilservice für Nutzfahrzeuge ist rund um die Uhr für Sie da.
If anyone else wants to get theirs made in Europe, shoot me a pm, they still have my data on file, so they can make an exact replica.

I also had a clunck with the old driveshaft, probably due to worn bearings. It's gone now.

Understood, appreciate the explanation. I guess the real concern would be high speed based on your experience with incorrect lengths and what better place to test than Germany if driven on the bahn.

I mean he did the exact same thing but his shop did the measurements correctly the first time, I had to get my driveshaft modified a 2nd time. I had no issues or vibrations until 80+ mph and they went back and shortened it slightly. They told me if the length is off even a tiny bit it will cause vibration.Originally posted by ugaexploder View Post
Little confused here, but weren't we waiting on your report not Altaran?
I'm not going to lie, I have zero confidence in this mod still.
I still have't tested out the new revision but I'm fairly confident it works fine, especially now that a counterpart in Europe has tested it for a decent amount of miles.

Just let me know when you guys need driveshafts. It's a great mod as long as the measurements are done right.

Does it feel significantly different than stock?

I've now put over 1000 kilometers on my CF shaft and have zero issues. No track yet, still waiting on a Dyno tune before that.
