    135i Brake Conversion

Anyone has experience with it? What rotors would you recommend. I have the calipers and brackets, but the selection of rotors seems limited or maybe I am not looking at the right parts.

You need the right brackets for rotors. Usually those calipers are paired with zcp rotors

Aren't these the ones that crack under heavy braking? Or is that only on track?

Those 135 calipers aren't any better than the OE sliders. They just give off the Brembo vibe to people who don't know any better.

Not entirely true, they provide better feel and modulation, miles better than stock items in that regard. Yes, there is less clamp force, but less so than the porsche clampers many here praise, which reduce clamping force even more so.

i have these brakes, and for a road only car they are perfect, and not that the stock calipers were track worthy either.

I'd think that all of the calipers have the same clamping force except maybe if one uses a bigger pad size. A fixed caliper is less off/on than the OE slider simply because the OE caliper has twist that needs to be taken up before the brakes bite.

I don't see what you get for performance by swapping these or a Porsche caliper on without increasing the rotor size and design.
