Pinion Seal from differential without fully removing drive shaft

    Hi all,

I'm in the process of replacing my pinion seal. I dropped the exhaust, removed the 6 e-torx bolts from the driveshaft on the differential side, and removed the center driveshaft holder (2 13mm bolts). Following this tutorial: https://youtu.be/C5DwaivVI_A
it looks like that's all I need to drop and hang the dirveshaft. However, I'm not able to move the driveshaft away from the differential. Am I missing something? Do I need to adjust the driveshaft or any other tips?

Here's the driveshaft in the differential you can see it is separated but not enough clearance to fully separate:

And here's the removed center support:

You need to push the rear half drive shaft into the front half (telescopic through the splines at front of the CSP in second pic), then the end will drop out the diff cradle.
If hard to push in, then loosen the big collar nut around the splines by 1 turn.
