Hi guys. It's time to replace ma brakes. I have ZCP M3 So there is not a lot options. I will go with oem rotors but I am curious about yours opinion about pads. Which one you recommended Textar (oem) , Akebono, Bosch? At this moment I have oem pads still have 40% of pads but rotors are done ... I have Akebono on my E38 and I really like minimum dust, stopping and they wear less rotors than oem pads , but M3 Is different car. Anybody tried Bosch pads ?

The brake pads on both standard and ZCP calipers are the same, so you have tons of options. If you're happy with the OEM pads, probably best to stick with those.Current: 2003.5 E46 ///M3 6MT - 2019 Ford Raptor 802A
Past: 2015 F80 ///M3 6MT - 2006 E46 ///M3 6MT - 1999 E36 ///M3 5MT - 1991 E30 ///M3 5MT

+1 on Textar for street use. I'd avoid any hybrid street/autox pad like the plague. I've had both Hawk HPS pads and ST Sport pads. After washing my car and leaving it parked in the garage, those pads would fuse to the rotors and create pad imprints on the rotors that were impossible to remove, even with re-bedding pads. It caused steering wheel vibrations under moderate braking that I found unacceptable. I switch my ST pads on the ST40s to 993 Textar pads and the steering wheel vibrations are gone. The stock rears I replaced with Textars from FCP.
I have tried Bosch pads on another car and they have poor initial stopping power. I believe they are a ceramic pad that dust very little and do not wear the rotor. Unfortunately, the opposite of those characteristics makes a good street pad.
