    HELP with P0303 and P1637!!!

I've just finished replacing the clutch on my 2003 M3. Right after that I've started it, and it sounded great.
Today I took it out for the first time for a short drive, and perhaps a minute later or so I noticed lack of power and it sounded differently, it wasn't firing on all 6 cylinders.
Although I didn't get the check engine, I plugged in the OBD reader and got P0303 misfire for cylinder number 3, and P1637 Control unit 12.
I don't think I forgot to connect anything, but I also refuse to believe it's just a coincidence and I have a blown head gasket. any suggestions?

clear the codes and reset throttle adaptation then see if they will come back. Maybe use inpa to read each throttle sensor data to see if it makes sense.

What the bad plug looks like? I mean it’s stupid simple part with two electrodes and a gap.

Exactly! I've been tinkering with cars for 25 years and never had a spark plug fail on me. There was no visible damage or defect, the only think I would say, it looks like it's running a bit rich.

just randomly replaced the plugs and the issue went away? I'm afraid the root cause is not resolved and it will come back.
The plugs don't look bad to me. To be sure, I would connect the coil to the plug and ground the plug to engine, then see if it has strong blue sparks during cranking.

I moved the spark plug from cylinder 3 to 4 and then to 1, the OBD misfire error was consistent with the defective plug location 🤷‍♂️

Are you going to replace all 6? This might be a great time to replace the coil packs with Eldor or Delphi since you’re in there.

Exactly what I did, replaced all 6 coils and spark plugs 👍
