I'm finally getting moving on my M3 Touring project - bodywork has begun!
I need to get the suspension sorted so I can put the front and rear subframes/suspension back in the shell so they can use the rear wheels as a guide to help confirm proper location of the M3 rear wheel arches.
My question is - I want to replace the front and rear wheel bearings as the donor M3 had 100K miles plus had been in an accident.
The suspension is out of the car and is replacing the F&R wheel bearings a doable job out of the car or is it an "easier" job to take on when the suspension is back in the car?
I do have impact tools and an hydraulic press.
Thanks in advance.
PS - here's a couple of pictures of the M3 & Touring front fenders with the cut lines and then the fenders trial fit on the shell.
